Hello! I am deeply grateful and humbled that you have found your way here.
My name is Katricia, and I support individuals and small groups in cultivating authentic, holistic well-being in ways that are grounded, meaningful, and sustainable in real life. Back to Humanity was created as a space to explore what it means to live well in relationship with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us.
I’ve studied and practiced holistic well-being for nearly two decades, with a focus on how well-being is shaped across physical, emotional, mental, relational, and spiritual dimensions of life. I hold a PhD in Community Psychology, and alongside my academic training, I’ve spent many years studying and practicing mindfulness, Buddhism, yoga, sense of community, and relational well-being. I continue to engage with these bodies of knowledge as a lifelong learner — both professionally and personally.
Much of my work sits at the intersection of relational and spiritual well-being. I’m deeply interested in questions like:
How does the quality of our relationships shape our sense of purpose and meaning?
How does personal growth and inner work influence the way we show up in relationship and community?
Why does disconnection - relational or spiritual - so often ripple into other areas of our well-being?
My journey has taken me around the world, including time spent learning from communities where people tend to live longer, healthier, and more connected lives. It has also brought me close to home, working alongside individuals and communities facing significant vulnerability and systemic barriers. Across these experiences, one theme has remained constant: well-being is not something we optimize in isolation — it is something we cultivate in relationship.
In my work, I draw on both my professional training and lived experience to help people:
Reflect on their current well-being across multiple dimensions
Clarify what feels nourishing, misaligned, or missing
Identify what is supporting and hindering their well-being
Create practical, values-aligned ways of cultivating well-being in daily life
This work is not therapy; it is reflective, integrative, and forward-looking. It is designed to support insight, intention, and meaningful change.
If something here resonates, I would be honored to walk alongside you for part of your well-being journey.
Thank you for being here.
